Jill Cherewyk
Grief is disorienting in ways that are hard to put into words, not just your loss, but who you find yourself to be in its aftermath. Jill works with individuals navigating grief, anxiety, depression, and the particular disorientation that comes when loss, in any form, changes the shape of your world.
Her work begins not with fixing or relieving, but with accompanying. Jill holds a quiet conviction that pain and suffering - as unwanted and unchosen as they are - can open a doorway to a more honest relationship with yourself. Not because you should be grateful for what happened, but because within that doorway is the possibility of knowing yourself more deeply, more clearly, and on your own terms. She believes that the person who comes to know themselves becomes their own best resource and she is committed to helping clients find their way there.
Jill brings particular attunement to what happens when loss interrupts the expected arc of a life. When grief arrives at a formative moment, it doesn't just hurt but it pauses development, stalls the milestones others around you seem to be reaching, and can leave you feeling profoundly out of step with your peers. If you have ever watched your life move sideways while everyone else appeared to move forward, Jill understands that specific loneliness and works with it directly.
Her approach is integrative and holistic, drawing on Narrative Therapy, Parts Work, CBT, emotional regulation tools, and Bilateral Stimulation. She also brings focused attention to communication, boundary setting, and navigating change - recognizing that loss reshapes how we relate to ourselves and others in ways that are often unexpected. Her warmth and genuine curiosity create a space where clients feel safe to explore, not just endure, what they're carrying.
Jill is currently welcoming new individual clients. Book a complimentary 20-minute consultation to connect.
