Anchored Hope
This is a research based, yet human approach to wellness. A course to learn healthy ways to navigate toxic stress.
The course is presented from a natural, conversational tone between a coach and a counsellor that demystifies topics such as trauma, window of tolerance and neuroplasticity.
In using their life experience and education the presenters are able to give science legs. Introducing evidence-based interventions to the people who can use them.
Humans function within a continuum of well-being. Stress and circumstance can lead us to feel helpless, hopeless.
The uniqueness about this course is you get the perspectives of both a therapist and a coach. This approach raises an awareness in the participant of what resources may be helpful for them personally.
Our Intention:
Find a sense of personal power.
Feel resourced to continue on your path - that may be the counsellor route, coach route, or reach out to additional support.
Develop a deeper understanding of your emotional health.
Increased level of awareness of the different ways you can take control of your well-being.
Increased sense of hope - that involves both willpower - the feeling you have power and control in your way forward; and waypower - resources and path you can take there.
Education and resources that support emotional regulation and stress management.
Course Curriculum:
8 modules including: Videos with presenters, evidence-based experiential exercises, journal prompts, meditations, somatic exercises, visuals, and additional references.
